WOW! A lot has changed since my last update! So much I don't know where to start! Well, for starters, I am not going to Spring Arbor University, the christian college I was planning on attending this last semester! My parents and I had a discussion, and we all decided it would be more beneficial for me to go to Lansing Community College then transfer up to Michigan State University to get my BA. It's still going to be in the same degree, just at a different university. After that decision was made, I felt pretty good about it, and I am enjoying the idea of saving almost $6,000 a semester.

I currently am unemployed! Don't want to get into, although, you might be able to tell by the end of this. Through a bunch of crap I was dealing with, life is going on. With also about to begin school in Lansing, there is no point in me working in Jackson, especially with the gas prices so high. I need to find a new job that will pay me more as well as give me the hours that I need to make ends meet!

I am still actively involved in my church, so involved I don't even get to go to church. I work in the children's ministry, and we don't have enough workers to work so I work every week. I get to go to "big church" the 5th Sunday of the month, which really sucks!

So please pray, that we get more workers for my church's children's ministry, so those who work every week are able to go to church to be ministered to. As well as for my job search, I need that pretty bad if I'm gonna be paying my bills! Also a biggy that I am still working on, is being content with being single! Well, that is about it from me, so if you want leave me a comment, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!

Season’s Greetings to one and all!

I have to start off by saying that God has truly been amazing! 2007 has been a series of ups and downs spiritually, personally, and academically. God has been faithful in carrying me through those trials. Patience and complete faith have been the main things that God has been teaching me to keep on pursuing.

This past year I have been getting very involved in my church. At first I was helping with the youth group doing whatever I could to help out. I then went out of my comfort zone and joined a small group. This past summer I helped with VBS and fell in love with working with kids, so now I help with our children’s ministry about 2 Sunday’s a month, sometimes more, down on “The Ranch”! And at my church’s annual business meeting I was voted to become a deaconess.

I have been thanking God that up until now I have not had to go into debt for college. My church started a class called Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. I joined it so I could learn how to manage my money, get out of debt once I get into it, and how to save for retirement. I have learned all of that and more, and going to the class helps keep me accountable with my finances.

Probably the best thing that occurred during 2007 was that as of August 23rd I became a graduate of Baker College with my Associates degree of Applied Science in Massage Therapy. I really don’t like bragging, but I do a pretty gosh darn good job at what I do! Or at least so I have been told. After I received my Associates, I honestly thought I was done with college and ready to move on with life. Everyone know the saying, if you wanna make God laugh, tell Him YOUR plans? Well, that was me. I took a computer class this fall so I could stay on my dad’s insurance, but lately I’ve been doing a lot of soul searching on what the next step in my life should be. I am currently in the process of filling out paper work, FAFSA, and going to meetings with advisors from Spring Arbor University. For those who don’t know Spring Arbor University is a Christian based university about 30min from my house. I am looking at getting my BA from there in Exercise and Sports Science. Once the paperwork is filled out, all I can do is sit back and watch God work.

I am still working at my local YMCA mainly as a lifeguard. I also do a great deal of other things at the YMCA. I teach swim lessons, sub for water aerobics, and I keep everyone in the building up to date on their First Aid and CPR. As you can see I stay pretty busy.

I am looking at 2008 on a positive note. I am moving on in my education and in my overall life. God is in control, which is the best place my life could be. I pray you all have a wonderful holiday season.

Much love to you all!

In Christ,

This is to all those who didn't hear the news. I know it has been some time that I've written on here, but people don't leave me any lovin! Anyway....Pat and I are no longer a couple! Which, REALLY SUCKS!! but God is good, and if it is his will for us to be back together then it will happen. But if not I am really going to have to have some MAJOR cry sessions!! Now I need to step up my relationship with God, as well as start working out some more! if I have to get back in the dating world I am not going out looking like THIS!!

Well a lot has happened in a month and a half, but there is too much for me to tell about! I walked for graduation this last Friday! It was SOO amazing, I actually feel like I am done even though I'm not! I have 11 weeks till I am OFFICIALLY DONE WITH SCHOOL!! I can't wait. I REALLY want to go on a LONG trip just to get away, but I don't know if that's going to happen or not. I really just want to start my trip in up state NY to see my boyfriend and anybody else i know, go down to PA to see my friends at BBC, then Maryland to see Carissa, Timmy, and X, then VA to see my friends at Liberty, then all the way down to GA to see my cousins. Ya, ya see it may not happen b/c it would be WAY too expensive. but we'll see! I guess that is it for now!! If you want to know more leave me some love and I'll get back to you!!!
